2025 100x photo project, Photography via Photo Essays

It is September and I finished my 100X project for 2025.  This is my annual project where I take 100 photos of a subject.  Okay, lets me honest, I take a 1000 plus photos so I can get 100 photos I want to use.  this year to get to 100 photos I have about 500 in my holding tank, I rejected about another 200. That would take me to 1000.  

 

This year my project was about Cameras, Photography, and Photographers.  This is usually one of my big topics.   I like photography around camera.  I have taken thousands of cameras around this subject.  I think I did a pretty good job around this.  

I was talking to Fredrick Van Johnson at a Flickr meetup he said they did a podcast about personal projects.  On the photo stroll he said it gives you focus.  It gives you something to drive your artist

Of course I am thinking about my 2026 project already Now I just need to decide what my project for 2026 will be.
