Strange Relationship
Silicon valley has a strange relationship with history. It's in love with the new it's constantly want to build and innovate. It wants to leave the past behind. But it is clear that this place exists because of all of the infrastructure the past provided. Maybe you can only see that after you've been around for a while. But it's a true thing. There's all these people who want to be able to pick up what silicon valley has made and do it someplace else. But there's no evidence that lasts very long. There are other tech centers but silicon valley is still silicon valley.
