Hot Wheels and Matchbox Cars

 

 When I was a kid, I love Matchbox Cars.  They were hands down my favorite toy.  At the time if I had a choice between a Matchbox car and a Hot Wheels car, I'd always choose the Matchbox car.  I loved going to the hobby shop and seeing the Matchbox display case.  There was something special to them that Hot Wheels didn't have.  I'm not sure I could put my finger on what that is now.  I loved my double decker bus, even if it was not to scale of the rest of the cars.
