Faith and Superman

I was watching Superman the Movie at work today.  This frame really struck me.  This is at Pa Kent's Funeral.  It is interesting that a woman who adopted an alien child still believes in God.  I am not sure what this says.  There are some people who meeting Superman would deepen their faith in God.  i guess that is what happened to Ma Kent.
