Farewell

David Halberstam died in a car accident this week. This made me said. I have only read one of David Halberstam's books, but I feel the world is a little worse today for him not being in it.

While he was a great writer, I loved any time I could see him on TV. ESPN interviewed him a lot for series like SportsCentury. He was smart, articulate, and passionate. That is a great combination for a sports interview.

I should go find some of his other books.
