I have given up hope

I just want to record the date. I have given up hope on my baseball team, the Philadelphia Phillies. I know they are only five games out of first place. I know that it is only May. I know that anything could still happen. I just do think it will.

As a Philadelphia sports fan it is important to know when to give up. The teams are so ready to always break your heart, it is good when you can not worry and just enjoy the losing. It is good to know it will not get any better.
