Same-sex marriage debate

Here is an interesting article about the point of view of people who oppose same-sex marriage. These people are here in the Bay Area. Being here, I do not get to hear that side of the argument from anyone. Everyone I hear willing to talk about it are for same-sex marriage. I think that people for gay marriage need to do a better job convincing people that it should be legal. Sometimes I feel that people are just being shouted down with the old catch phrase, "It's a civil rights issue." I am starting to think that turns off people who are opposed.
