Rumble Seat

My mother told me what it was like to ride in a rumble seat.  She said it was a lot of fun.  When you get into a rumble seat, you have to step on the seat. Mom lived on a farm when she was really young.  Walking around on a farm and stepping on a seat, means you will get dirt on the seat.  Mom used to tell me that she loved riding in the rumble seat until she was old enough to car about keeping her clothing clean.
