Rethinking views on flickr

 

I think I need to rethink my ideas about views on Flickr.  Last week I did a photo essay that was about how I want to take 90% of my photos on flickr 10 views. I was thinking that was a sign that people have seen my photo.  Getting those views was a point of pride. 



This was all before the famous flickr redesign.  This was before the size of the photos in most views have changed.  Now people can see great versions of my photos without clicking on the photo.  This means I do not get a view, even is someone views it. 



I think this means my drive for views is over.  I will no longer use views as an idea of statue.  I will need another thing to obsess with on flickr.
