Album of the Day: March 16–20, 1992

I the way to work today I listed to Uncle Tupelo - March 16-20, 1992. It matched the grey feeling of the drive this morning. There was a lot of overcast clouds in the sky. I found that matched the feeling of the songs. This is a real working man's album. It has themes of worry, struggle, and the future.

The album has a lot of traditional folk songs. I love the way those songs mix in so well with the songs from Farrar and Tweedy. It makes for a great flow on the album.

Best Songs on the album:
Grindstone
Sandusky
Coal Miner
Atomic Power
The Walton's (Theme)
