My August Music Project

Ever since I got my first iPod and installed iTunes, I have had an August Music Listening Project. I focus my music listening on songs that have a playcount lower than ten. Ten is an important number because with ten listens I give a song a star rating. The obsession with listening to music at least 10 times go back before the iPod, but it is really easy to track with iTunes.

I think this is a good project because it gets some of the dust off tracks I have not taken the time to list to recently. I have many gigabytes of music that I have not heard at all. I have over 12 GB of songs I have heard once. I cannot listen to that much music in a month.
