Portland Vacation: construction

I realize that My mental map of Portland is mostly back in 1999. It stays there instead of updating with my trips. It makes sense to me. I am usually thinking about to 1999, not to my last trip here.

I have noticed a lot of construction on this trip. It seems like there is a lot of growth here. I am a pro grownth person. I espally like in-fill urban growth. I love it when cities put up more tall buildings. I usually see this as a good thing.

I guess I will keep that 1999 mental map of Portland as long as I live. I would have to move back here before I could get rid of it. That is not out of the question, but I do not see it happening anytime soon.
