Peter hates the song Takin' Care of Business by Bachman-Turner Overdrive. He says that the song follows him around. Every bad garage band knows how to play it and they will play it often. I believe he thinks it is everything that is bad and lazy about rock and roll. It is an easy song to play and the masses like it. Peter will take any opportunity to lay the badmouth on the song. I think that he is being too hard on the song.
The question came up recently: If you could pay money to never hear X song again, what song would that be? Peter said Takin' Care Of Business. I said that there would have to be at least 25 songs which that money would be better spent on. There are songs out there worse than Takin' Care of Business. We could not come up with 25 songs on our coffee break. Here is a list of ten songs that I think are worse than Takin' Care of Business.
