Game Manifesto

Right after E3 I saw this Game Manifesto. I think this says something about the game industry. There are gamers out there that really want to see games become an artform approching film or music. Right now I do not think this is the case. There are some games that are artful, but there are no movements of games. Every few games really build on the artistic statements of games before it. I wonder if something like video games can become a true popular artform.
