Poor security
It looks like people will do anything for free coffee even give away their password. One of the problems is that we need so many passwords. I have no clue how many passwords I have. Every site seems to need one.
I think it would be a good solution to have a universal RSA SecurID that you could use for every site, but that might have problems I cannot foresee. Then any site could pop up just to get my SecurID info.
One of the problems is that some sites that should not ask for passwords do. I hate having to make a password to read the New York Times or Mercury News on line. It is another password that gets stuck in my head. I am not saying that we need everything to be public all the time, I am saying there are things you should not need a password to use. My guess is that this is not going to get better anytime soon.
