Cover for Benedict XVI
Last night I was talking with several different groups friends about Benedict XVI. After all the talk, blog post,and news reports I want to tell people to give him some time. We have already trashed him and the church for the selection. Lets wait for him to actually do something as Pope.
I might be naive, but I think that taking a new role, like becoming pope, can change people. We do not know how different Pope Benedict XVI will be from Cardinal Ratzinger. We have to give him the chance to be different. It is unfair to just close our eyes from here.
I hope that people would give me that if I ever became Pope.
