More on being spoiled

I was talking with Peter today. He was driving home from working thinking about buying a UPS backup for his TiVo. He does not want to miss his shows if the power goes out. As he was thinking about this a story came on NPR stating that about one billion people on the planet do not have easy access to clean water.

No matter how bad I think my life is going and no matter how jealous I am of people I can see around me, I must remember how lucky I am. There are so many people that have it a lot worse. Sometimes it is very hard to remember this.
