Outcomes and Objections
Today the Presidential electoral votes were certified, but not before a delay. For only the third time in history the vote was challanged in history. The point of the challenge was not to overturn the out come. The point of the challange was to force a debate.
My problem with the debate is simple. The democrats do not want election refrom. They just want their canidates to win. It all seems senseless to me. No one really wants it to be fair. They just want it fair enough that they can win.
I think that the Democrats should run on an election reform platform in 2008. If they do not, they are not going to win. It is just that simple. They do not currently look like they really want reform.
