The Camera and the Public Eye

I keep on hearing stories of people being hassled for people taking pictures. Orginzations like the New York City MTA have banned cameras. When I hear these things they scare me. I love to take pictures. I have taken a lot of very good pictures from the top of parking garages. I am always afraid cops are going to wonder what I am up to.

San Jose Blogger Kevin Bjorke has started a new weblog, PhotoPermit. This site is all about protecting your right to take pictures. I think there are lots of important issues here. It is important to not let people erode our rights.
