Travel Notes: Prague Beer
I have been drinking a lot of beer here in Prague. The beer is really cheap. You can get .5 liter for 30-40 Korun, ~$1.50-2 US. Beer is a big part of Prague culture. Just about everywhere serves Pilsner Urquell. It is 12% alcohol, much higher then beer in the US.
The US should make beer more alcoholic for weight reasons. I think that people would drink less beer if they could get drunk quicker. Think about how many calories that would save. I think it is a good trade off.
