First, I think people should debate if Cuban's remarks are correct or not. They should not act like he is a monster for making them. Lots of people are saying things like, "you should never make a commit like this about sexual assault." I think people who say that are trying to stifle discourse. That is never good in my mind.
Second, the real problem with Cuban's comments is that it shows a thinking in corporate America. I think he is correct, Kobe's problems will get people talking and thinking about the NBA. The problem is that it has only a short term benefit. The people that will be driving away for the long run.
