Goodbye Sam
Sam Phillips passed away. He was the founder of Sun Records and one of the Founder Fathers of Rock and Roll. I feel that Rock and Roll would not be the same if he had not have been the same without his influence. I read once that recording That's Alright Mama with Elvis Presley was the point of no return for Rock and Roll. Nothing could have stopped it after that record was released. I think all music are in Sam's debt.
